Founding couples
Early Access Terms
These terms apply when you submit an early-access application. Version 2026-08-01; effective 1 August 2026.
Who can apply
You must be at least 18 years old, be planning a wedding and have access to a compatible Mac or Windows computer. Submit one application per couple and make sure the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Selection
We will assess applications using the wedding plans, current planning stage, computer platform and likely ability to provide useful feedback described in the form. Ten suitable couples will be selected. Applying does not guarantee selection, and this is not a random prize draw.
The early-access offer
Each selected couple will receive a full copy of The Wedding Chapter free of charge before public launch for their personal wedding-planning use. We will not charge selected couples for the copy offered as part of the early-access programme.
The offer has no cash alternative, cannot be sold or transferred, is limited to the selected couple, and does not include third-party products or services unless we expressly say otherwise. We will contact selected applicants by email with installation, compatibility and participation details.
Using pre-release software
Early-access software may be incomplete, change before public launch or contain errors. Keep a separate backup of important wedding information, check important dates, costs and arrangements independently, and do not rely on the app as the only record of essential or time-sensitive plans.
Install updates or fixes we identify as necessary for security or testing. We will not introduce a charge for the early-access copy without first obtaining your express agreement.
Information imported into the app
You must only import spreadsheets, guest details, documents or other information that you are entitled to use. Wedding-planning information may include personal information about guests and suppliers. You remain responsible for deciding what information to enter and for keeping appropriate backups.
Before selected testers receive the app, we will explain how information entered into the application is stored and provide any separate product privacy information that applies.
Feedback
Selected testers are expected to use the app and provide honest, constructive feedback within reasonable timescales communicated to them. You retain ownership of material and information that belongs to you.
You give Next Chapter Apps permission to use feedback, suggestions and non-confidential ideas you voluntarily provide to evaluate, develop and improve The Wedding Chapter. We will not identify you publicly or use your name, wedding details, review or testimonial in marketing unless you provide separate express permission.
Confidential information
You must not share private download links, access credentials or material clearly marked as confidential. This does not prevent you from discussing your own experience unless we have reasonably identified specific information as confidential before sharing it with you.
Ending participation
You may stop participating at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or end participation where reasonably necessary because of a security or technical risk, misuse of the software, a serious or repeated breach of these terms, a legal or regulatory requirement, or the early-access programme ending. Where practical, we will explain a material change or decision.
Privacy and marketing
We use application information to review applicants and administer early access as explained in our Privacy Policy. Marketing consent is optional and separate from accepting these terms. You do not need to join the early list to apply.
Responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility where the law does not permit it. Because this is pre-release software supplied free of charge, you must keep a separate copy of important information. We are not responsible for avoidable loss caused by using the app as the only record of wedding plans where maintaining a reasonable backup would have prevented that loss. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
Changes to these terms
If you are selected, we will tell you about any material change to these terms before it applies to your participation.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Mandatory consumer rights applying where you live are not affected. Questions can be sent to hellotheweddingchapter@gmail.com.
